Meet K9 Mia, her birthday is August 5th, 2021. Mia is a purebred miniature poodle, and she was born in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania. I found her on the internet and new immediately I had to go see her. I talked to my wife, and we went to meet Mia the next day. When we met, I knew she was coming home with us right away. And our journey began at that moment I just didn't realize it at that time. When Mia turned 6 months old, we enrolled Mia in her first beginner obedience class. Mia excelled and we moved to level 2 intermediate obedience class. Mia also was at the head of her class for level 2. Mia then took level 3 advanced class, and she did great and graduated complete. We continued with more training, and we signed Mia up with Alliance of therapy dogs. On February 8th, 2024, Mia became an official therapy K9. Mia does therapy work at several nursing homes, Library, hospital and Mia does several special events through the year. Mia works in Adams & York County Pa locations. K9 Mia was an inspiration to me and changed my life in many ways. We want to do everything we can to help out these precious special K9's. So, I decided to try to vest working K9's in the United States.
